Now before you rattle off your smart ass answer like “the gym”, I’m talking about the online space. There is a metric ton of information out there and most of it is about as useless as a shake weight.

As you can imagine, I spend quite a lot of time online and am constantly in search of quality information from people who know what the fuck they are talking about. And believe me, there are relatively few of them out there..

I want you to get fit almost as much as you do and I’ve seen so many people spinning their wheels for months and years at a time trying to figure out what to do. I can only help you so much and I know this site is far from a one-stop shop when it comes to getting the body you want.

I also would rather not see you visiting sites like MensHealth.com or MensFitness.com which seem to be more interested in promoting products, generating advertising revenue, and spamming the shit out of your inbox than creating actual useful content.

The Good News; All Fitness Sites Are Not Terrible!

Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to become friends or acquaintances with many successful and legit fitness experts in the online realm and feel good about sharing their knowledge with you.

So without further ado, here is my list of destinations that you should visit if you are looking to be inspired, taught, entertained, and/or slapped in the face.

TonyGentilcore.com

Although his writing is a bit technical and comes from a straight strength coach perspective, Tony has a very down to earth and realistic approach to fitness. What I like most about him is that he makes things like the Pallof Press and lower back pain , fun (OK, it’s not actually fun, but it is interesting.) His writing is over the top hilarious and even if you have zero interest in what her writes about, you should still read it due to the pure comedic value.

Oh yeah, he also happens to work alongside Eric Cressey, who is one the leading strength coaches in the country (dare I say, world) and is widely recognized as the authority on all things shoulder related.

MorelliFit.com

I met Michael a few months ago and can tell you this is one passionate and driven dude. Just watch one of his videos and you’ll see the energy and intensity pouring out of him. He has been highly successful with his online programs, including HIIT MAX, and is constantly striving to better himself and his clients.

He is super active on Instagram and YouTube and posts useful content constantly. And from what I’ve seen, he responds to almost all of his comments (there are a TON!), so I know he is always willing to help. Definitely worth a follow.

Elliot Hulse

Elliot has been dominating YouTube for a few years now and if you’ve never watched any of his stuff, you’re missing out. He doesn’t fuck around and is about as straight a shooter as they come. His topics vary from strength and conditioning to confidence to sexual attraction and are always entertaining.

Scott Herman

Scott is also very popular on YouTube and has hundreds of high quality exercise videos and tutorials to watch. He seems to be a pretty humble guy (although he always seems to be shirtless), and has a sincere desire in helping people get fit.

His website is a bit promotion heavy, which annoys the hell out of me, but still offers a lot of quality information.

NerdFitness.com

This list wouldn’t be complete without Steve Kamb’s site. Over the past few years, NerdFitness has become a HUGE resource and community for nerds (and non-nerds) to seek help getting fit and living healthy.

His posts are comprehensive and highly informative, including a few of my favorites:

What is most amazing about NF is that it is helping thousands of people each and every day, whether it’s through his blog posts, online programs, or enormously popular message board.

JoelRunyon.com

Joel is a unique dude and runs a popular site called The Blog Of Impossible Things. I actually interviewed him a few years ago for my blog EndingTheGrind.com and although I never ended up publishing it, he struck me as someone not only looking to become the best he could be, but also was inspired to do the same for others.

He’s done some crazy shit and traveled around the world and I was brave enough to try his Cold Shower Therapy, albeit briefly. And yes, it sucked.

BandanaTraining.com

Rob Sulaver is one of the funniest mo-fo’s I’ve come across online and one look at his opt-in copy will show you what I mean.

BandanaThe kicker is that Rob is a C.S.C.S. (an advanced certification), a prolific writer, and contributor to a bunch of fancy publications and overall badass dude. And yes, he actually knows what he is talking about.

Check out these posts when you have time:

JasonFerruggia.com

Jason is hardcore and is all about results. He talks about conditioning, nutrition, life, and general badassery on his site. His post, My Personal Journey to Hell and Back, speaks volumes about his character. This guy is the real deal and can teach you a shit load about building muscle and burning fat. His Renegade Diet program has gotten a lot of attention and there is a wealth of knowledge in his Definitive Guide Building Muscle.

So there you have it. Hopefully you will take some time to read through some of these sites and find a few that really resonate with you. And as always, feel free to hit me up any time with questions.
